Table of contents
If you are using an active firewall to secure your private network for organizations like universities, schools, or enterprise businesses, you might encounter difficulties accessing certain areas of the Fugo website or loading Fugo content on your devices.
โCommon access issues
Common symptoms of access issues include:
Being redirected to a blocked/restricted page when accessing specific areas of your Fugo account.
Inability to load Fugo content across multiple devices using the same network.
Difficulty pulling in content for social media or live-streaming apps, which are typically blocked on private networks.
However, when connecting to an alternative network, you may notice that the Fugo member area and apps load without any issues. This indicates that whitelisting our domains and servers can help resolve these challenges.
Who can whitelist domains & servers?
We recommend reaching out to your network administrator or the IT department to provide them with the list of domains mentioned in the following section. They can assist you further in configuring your network settings to allow seamless access to Fugo services. Alternatively, if you are a system administrator for your network, you can perform the whitelisting yourself.
Ensure communication with our support team
To ensure uninterrupted communication with our Support Team, please whitelist and approve the email address support@fugo.ai in your email or company firewall settings. This email is crucial for addressing any issues you might encounter with our services.
Domains & servers to whitelist
Below is the comprehensive list of servers and domains that need to be whitelisted. Please note that certain applications and third-party services integrated with Fugo may require additional review for whitelisting on your network or firewall.
These services identified play a vital role in hosting various features of the Fugo product, including APIs, integrations, Media Library management, static assets, error logging, applications, and more. Whitelisting them will enable smooth access and optimal functionality of Fugo services on your private network.
Essential
Used for the most common domains to whitelist and approve past firewalls or internet security protection services to run Fugo:
Less essential
The domains are less essential, but still needed sometimes to correctly display your signage content:
Screen casting
If you're using a private, enterprise, or secure network at your workplace, this can affect the performance of the casting feature.
To ensure that your firewall & other network restrictions are not preventing you from casting to your screens with Fugo, we recommend that you add the following domains & ports to your allow list:
stun.l.google.com:19302 - this is the domain & port of our STUN server.
0.peerjs.com:3478 - this is the domain & port of our TURN server.
0.peerjs.com:443 - this is the domain & port of our Web Socket connection.
Apps
Using the provided list, you have the option to whitelist specific domains for applications or integrations in case your firewall or internet security protection services block any apps. Whitelisting apps may not always be necessary and depends on the restrictions set by your firewall services.
