Fugo’s Web Page App is a versatile tool that lets you display any public web page, including Google Sheets, directly on your workplace TV screens.

As an alternative to the Google Sheets app, this method is ideal for sheets that don’t require login credentials, ensuring your data is always accessible and visually engaging. Here's how to use it to display your Google Sheet in just a few steps.

What is the Web Page app?

The Web Page app in Fugo lets you render any public web page on your digital signage, providing a flexible solution for repurposing web-based content.

Whether you’re sharing Google Sheets, dashboards, or other online assets, the app simplifies the process, making it possible to embed real-time, scrollable content into your playlists or screen designs.

It’s good for:

  • Displaying public dashboards or sheets

  • Adding live web content to company dashboards

  • Incorporating dynamic pages as part of your on-screen content strategy

Setting up your Google sheet with the Web Page app

1. For this method to work your Google Sheet must be public. To generate your public link, click File at the top left and then navigate to Share > Publish to web.

2. Choose the sheet that you'd like to display. Make sure you do not restrict the access - this is sometimes checked by default, so make sure the setting at the bottom is as shown.

3. Now navigate to Fugo and go to the Studio tab and click the button Create Content.

4. Search for the Web Page app.

5. Paste the link generated in step 2.

That's all - your sheet should now show!

Pro tip 💡- You can resize the app and use the crop feature to get rid of any unwanted parts.

Tips for best results

  • Test before publishing: Preview your Google Sheet’s appearance to ensure it looks good on your chosen screen.

  • Combine with other content: Use Fugo’s Design Studio to create rich, multi-layered displays that integrate your sheet with additional elements like logos, text, or live news feeds.

  • Optimize for readability: Resize or crop your sheet to emphasize the most important data for your audience.
